Department of Information and Communication Engineering

The Department of Information and Communication Engineering focuses on education and research in information transmission and processing, and display engineering. Its faculty members perform worldclass research in the field of software/hardware systems of data communication, data and signal processing, Internet communication, computer network, semiconductor and circuits, and display and optical engineering.

The department aims to produce highly qualified engineers specialized in various fields of information and communication engineering. The department provides an excellent educational curriculum and opportunities for students to work with faculty conducting world-leading research. In that regards, the department has made it a priority to recruit and retain faculty for enhanced education, convergence, and interdisciplinary research. The department also provides extensive financial support for its graduate students, with a majority of students receiving scholarships during the duration of their program. The graduates of the department have played important roles in industries (including global tech companies), public enterprises, and research institutions.
